Being able to see what my friends “like” can be really great, but is it worth giving up some of my privacy? The future of Facebook and how our obsession with it might affect our mood are important topics to consider before choosing to log in (again).

The TED conferences often feature passionate inventors and scientists who are contributing to the advancement of Technology. However, some TED presenters remind audience members and virtual viewers that there can be drawbacks to this potentially co-dependent relationship. Creating tangible boundaries between you and your gadgets can help keep the balance intact.

Could you imagine unplugging from your cellphone for a full day? Do you think there would be a cumulative impact if you did so once a week? In my recent letter to Technology, I contemplate the upside to technology while keeping in mind the consequences of a society constantly plugged in. 

It's been nearly 2 years since I first reached out to Technology, hoping to forge a better relationship. While I haven't heard back, I have decided to pick up the keyboard and resume my efforts. With the rapid changes we are experiencing at Technology's hand, we must do our best to understand the impacts, both good and bad, of this fateful relationship
